I think that John Marshall Harlan is the greatest person because of all the goals that he has accomplished in his lifetime. I also think that he is the greatest person because he became one of the greatest Supreme Court Justices in the world; I think this is why he is the greatest person in the world.
A goal that he has accomplished in his lifetime was that he became a Supreme Court justice; He accomplished this goal by going to college and planning out what he was going to do in life. Harlan went to Centre College in the year of 1850. He graduated, and then went to the University of Transylvania to take law courses. This shows that he was aiming for a goal to get somewhere. Setting a goal can get you very far in life and this is a reason why I think he is the greatest person.
The next reason that I think he is the greatest person is because he became one of the greatest Supreme Court justices in the world. He did this by taking after his father and following in his foot steps. One of the things that made him the greatest Supreme Court justices is that he always disagreed with his colleagues. These are all reasons why I think Harlan is the greatest person.
